Funny Day in the Park....

If you get that reference, then you're gettin' me! Anyway, we went to the park today and had fun as usual. But the cool thing was that we saw a bird's nest in a tree with a baby bird singing and the Mommy bird looking over it. The Daddy bird was on another branch making sure all was okay. Then just a few branches over from that, there was a HUGE spider in a HUGE web. (see pics).

As we were driving home, he said he didn't want to go home. When I asked him where he wanted to go, he said, "Hmmm. How about Tijuana?" I swear to God. Is that not the funniest thing you ever heard a 2 year old say?! He is my son.

I asked him why everything he says is so cut and he says: "I'm cute. I'm Curran." Like I didn't know!!

First day of School 2008

Curran went back to school this past Friday and had a blast. He loves
his teachers (Miss Eileen and Miss Sandy) and has a lot of new friends
along with some old friends in his class. This year he will learn a
lot. Not the least of which is to finish up potty training! The
teacher says she can have them all trained by the end of school. What
fun!!

Anyway, as you can see from the pics, he was all ready to go on the
first day. That evening, he did some light reading in one of his many
business magazines!!
