First time in High Chair

Today Curran tried out his high chair that his Mimi and Pop gave him. He loved it. It's very cute (see pic) and has some toys to distract him while I make the food. He's getting stronger and stronger and sitting up better. He'll be crawling soon!!

Things I love about my baby!

I love the way he smells, even at the end of the day when he's been sweating or he's covered in baby food.
I love the way he looks like a shiny new penny when he's had a bath.
I love that he's always in a good mood in the morning and greets me with a smile.
I love the way he lights up when I enter a room.
I love rocking him at night and before he falls asleep, he just sits quietly and stares at my face while stroking my cheek.
I love his little fat fingers and toes.
I love the dimple in his chin.
I love the way he can go to the Aquarium for hours and not cry.
I love the way he screams out just to hear himself scream.

Well, I've made my point. I love everything about him. He is my heart.

Green Beans and Sea Otters

Curran started eating solid foods a few weeks ago after his 4 month check-up. At first he hated it, but now he seems to be getting used to it. So I introduced his first green veggie yesterday-green beans- and he loves them!! The only things he doesn't like so far are carrots and peaches, but I'll try again later. He loves apples and pears, butternut squash and of course sweet potatoes!!

We all went to the Aquarium today and were there for several hours in the biggest crowd you've ever seen. And Curran did fabulous. Not one whimper or anything. He was in his snuggli (See pic) and even took a nap while in it. We were all pretty tired when it was over, but I was so proud of him. He just looked around and soaked it all in!!
